Egan Named MEAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State sophomore pitcher Jordan Egan (Virginia Beach, Va.) was named the MEAC Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced.

Egan, a right hander, earned the save in NSU's 4-2 win over Penn State on Sunday by pitching three hitless, scoreless innings. He fanned four, helping the Spartans finish off their first win over a Big Ten team since topping PSU in 1996. Egan allowed just one baserunner, that coming on a hit batter.  (click here for the entire article)
