Norfolk State senior centerKyle O’Quinnwas named the MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. O’Quinn averaged 12.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in the Spartans’ two
games last week, a 59-57 loss to No. 16 Marquette in the Paradise Jam
championship and a 70-63 win over Eastern Kentucky on Sunday. O’Quinn
averaged 10.0 defensive rebounds per contest last week, including 11
